Hello all. Glad i found this website...just read well of echoes quartet and couldnt resist buying all the other books of the Three World series. I have been pondering for sometime over other peoples oppinions of the Well Of Echoes quartet.

Personally I've always found the Well of Echoes to be not quite as good as the VftM series. I think a lot of that comes from the fact that I never really liked Tiaan very much, and the rest from VftM seeming a bit more...epic. I still like the Well of Echoes though, and I think Nish and Irisis are two of the more interesting characters from any of Ian's works.

Hi Robyn, I stay near Lanark however most of my time is spent in Glasgow.

I'm currently reading the View From The Mirror quartet but I dont think it is as good as Well Of Echoes. I quite liked Tiaan but I always thought when she got into difficult situations she should have used her Geomancy powers but she rarely did, kind of annoyed me. Malien is my favourite character and she is in the View From The Mirror quartet so im quite pleased about that.
